Receptionist

This is an opportunity for a Receptionist to join our growing Ireland team, based in our central Dublin office. (6 month fixed term contract)

You will be working alongside our litigation lawyers ensuring that we deliver market leading service to our clients. Our team handles all areas of commercial and insurance litigation, acting on behalf of a broad spread of insurer and commercial clients. 

You will assist the solicitors in the day-to-day handling of; post, appointments, greeting clients and general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting incoming clients;
  • Maintaining the room bookings function for the office;
  • Managing, sorting and scanning of incoming post;
  • Answering and filtering all external telephone calls and redirecting appropriately;
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy reception area;
  • Organising taxis and couriers as required;
  • Assistance with ordering office stationary;
  • General administrative duties;
  • Ad hoc activities as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • Must have excellent English & excellent attention to detail;
  • The candidate should have a positive, helpful, cheerful and can do attitude;
  • Strong MS Office and computer skills;
  • Experience with Practice Evolve (Documatics) case management would be helpful but not essential;
  • Excellent telephone manner with good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure, use own initiative and work within a team;
  • Be able to blend well with existing team;
  • A good fit for us is essential;
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload;
